My recipes often call for flax eggs, so I thought I’d share a video on how exactly I make them. It’s ridiculously simple. I buy this flaxseed meal and it lasts a LONG time. When flax meal combines with water, it thickens. This serves as a perfect vegan egg replacer as it helps with binding. I also recommend adding flax meal to smoothies and oatmeal for a similar thickening effect!
- 1 Tbsp flaxseed meal
- 2.5 Tbsp water
- Combine flax meal and water and let sit for 5 minutes.
